Make Sure You Buy the Right Residential LED Fixture Types

Frederick Pollock, a famous English jurist, once said that the law cannot make all men equal, but they are all equal before the law. However, this rule doesn’t apply to light field. Different types of lights are designed for men’s various NEEDS, such as brightness, decorations and enhancement.
For our customers, it’s IMPORTANT to make sure you buy the right type of light fixture you want, or else it’s pretty hard to buy something useless.
Well, here’s a quick rundown of the most common types of indoor LED fixtures.

A.    Undercabinet LED lights

Undercabinet LED lights are usually found in the kitchen where all the countertops need to be fully illuminated with bright and clear light. They should be installed under
a cabinet, shelf, or similar surface, so they would be thin for design and people can get the light where they really need it and thin bulbs are needed here.
In a kitchen, 3~5 undercabinet LED bulbs of 1 watt are bright and clear enough to illuminate your worktops, and the weight of every LED bulb is about 1.76oz (50g). So you don’t worry about your cabinet’s load. It’s a piece of cake for sure. There’s a welcoming feeling, right?

B.    Recessed LED lights
Recessed lights are installed into a hollow opening in a ceiling of a hallway, drawing room and so on. They appear to have light shining from a hole in the ceiling, concentrating the light in a download direction.
Unlike a bulb inside a recessed can, LED recessed lights have no wasted energy or light. Because of a directional spread, they produce far less heat and reduce cooling costs. By the way, you should pair your LED recessed lights with a compatible dimmer switch to get at least 25 times longer lasting than incandescent bulbs.
